One Size Fits All

What should I write? 
 
Much of what occupies my mind is the constant ever depressing news emanating from the White House and various agencies led by the sycophants of our dastardly president.
 
So should I write about
 

1. The dismantling of our education system from pre-kindergarten to graduate programs at our most prestigious universities?
2. The elimination of science research which fosters our becoming a second-rate nation in the development of scientific advances and the fact that Europe is now offering grants to our best scientists?
3. The elimination of Medicaid to some of our poorest citizens?
4. The threat to our health from the questioning of vaccines including COVID boosters for the coming fall and the ending of inspections for the safety of milk?
5. Transmission of military secrets via a non-secure communication system?
6. The use of the military against our own citizens?
7. Cruelty to immigrants including separation of families and sending of American citizens to intolerable prison conditions in third world countries?
8. Firings of thousands of federal workers for no reason other than to brag about bringing the size of the workforce down?
9. Tax cuts which will benefit the average person in the tiniest of ways while giving the billionaires massive additions to their already overloaded bank accounts?
10. Threats to our closest neighbors, turning our traditional allies against us, and cozying up to dictators on all continents?
11. Threats to annex Canada and Greenland against the wishes of the inhabitants?
12. The belief that threats and angry outbursts will bring peace to the world?
13. Marginalization of the LGBTQ+ community and other groups who are not composed strictly of white males?
14. Definition of women as baby production factories?
15. Encouragement of the proliferation of guns?
16. Threats to the earth with the elimination of all climate protection information and processes?
17. And so many more insults I would never have imagined would come to our country.

 
So, sure, there are plenty of problems with the current administration’s governing, surely enough to fill this space for some time.
 
But what would I be writing? I think it would be the same posting week after week after week, including the following.
 
The president and/or his lackeys have acted in an incredibly stupid way.
 
The president and/or his lackeys have acted in an incredibly cruel way.
 
The president and/or his lackeys have done irreparable harm to our country.
 
It wouldn’t be identical wording posting after posting, obviously, but it would have been identical arguments.
 
Or as a variation I could reissue my previous rants about those who would never vote for Trump but also held their vote from Harris because she didn’t appease their delicate sensitivities enough. Resulting in the election loss that led to all the above.
 
You know the people I mean, The ones who would include the following:
 

1. Those who felt this country did not sufficiently rein in Israel as it attacked the Palestinians in Gaza.
2. Those disgusted by the lack of sympathy for the trans community.
3. Those who just didn’t like Harris and wouldn’t vote unless they could have the candidate of their choice.

 
Any posting involving these people would have similar messaging.
 
Look what you got as a result.
 
Did you really think that things would be better under Trump? Well, what do you think now?
 
I’m going to spare you from reading the same comments over and over. Just know that lack of discussion of them in no way indicates embracing them. We are a nation hell bent on destroying itself, and we should be ashamed.
 
This is my 290th post. My goal is to reach 300. But probably, for my own good, I’ll finish up mostly with non-political rants. After all, you loyal readers are who I would call “clear thinkers” so I know I’m writing to the choir. There aren’t many of you, but I do appreciate your loyalty.
